The Tango Festival and World Championship kicks off tomorrow until the 27th of August featuring a program full of music and dance. The event, which is divided into categories, will take place in different venues around the city including the Centro de Exposiciones, Usina del Arte, Teatro 25 de Mayo, Anfiteátro Parque Centenario and the Luna Park where the world championship finals will take place.
The festival will be divided into different segments including concerts, dance classes, milongas and parties, dance shows, conferences, a tango products fair and of course the world championships. There will also be a special segment dedicated to the bandoneón, one of the essential tango instruments that very closely resembles the accordion.
